Harold Blumke

Hall of Fame Inductees
Softball (fastpitch) (2004)

Harold Blumke was a phenomenal fastpitch hurler who won 11 of his last 12 games as the Stores-Machinists fastpitch team went into the Northwest Regional Playoffs on Labor Day weekend in 1945 at Athletic Park with a trip to the World Championships on the line. For years Blumke was the leading pitcher for the Briggs Bombers in Detroit fastpitch circles before coming west for military service.
